Led by the University of Technology Sydney, this project examines the flows needed to sustain the food web that supports fish and other river life. Seasonal and event-based sampling at ten or more sites will track carbon and nutrient delivery, algal and microbial production, and the response of invertebrates and zooplankton, then model how the river responds under different management scenarios.
